The so-called Organized Buying and selling Facility license positions the Netherlands-headquartered crypto trade as the primary cash-settled perpetuals platform in Europe, together with the U.Okay., the press launch reads. One Buying and selling founder Joshua Barraclough says the license is a part of the corporate’s mission to allow all buyer sorts “to go long or short on any asset, use any asset as collateral, settle everything instantly, and perpetually roll contracts.”

“With this license, we are well positioned to introduce new regulated products and offer institutional-grade solutions to all customer types starting with BTC and ETH products where no onshore E.U. regulated venue currently exists.”

In 2023, the trade raised €30 million in a Sequence A spherical led by Peter Thiel’s Valar Enterprise with participation from different buyers, together with MiddleGame Ventures, Speedinvest, Keyrock, and Wintermute Ventures. Along with the OTF license, One Buying and selling holds a digital asset service supplier license from the Dutch regulator.
